A second agreement also was signed that will create a seamless transfer from RLC's multimedia associate's degrees and certificates into UTD's Arts and Technology degree. RLC offers a Web Design Associates in Applied Science degree, Visual Design (Level I and Level II) Certificates, Internet Communications (Level I and Level II) Certificates, Multimedia Developer (Level I and Level II) Certificates and Multimedia Animator (Level II) Certificate.

The transfer agreements, also called articulation agreements, are the third and fourth such agreements RLC and UTD have reached in the past two years. In February 2004, RLC and UTD signed a transfer agreement for students pursuing a degree in electrical engineering. In December 2004, the institutions signed a transfer agreement for students in journalism/communications.
