The Center for Tutoring and Learning Connections offers academic tutoring, general study skills and discipline-specific workshops, and a comfortable learning environment for all students of Richland College. Our multicultural, experienced staff of tutors and support personnel is eager to assist students with their studies and foster a true learning community on campus. We are located in Medina Hall, room M-216. Our facility is equipped with eighteen computers available for students' educational usage at all times, plus six reserved computers for TRIO/SOAR and DSO students; all of these computers are equipped with tutorial software packages. We also conduct study skills workshops throughout each semester to help students cope with stress, organize their thinking, and improve their reading and writing skills. In addition, mathematics workshops help students hone their mathematical skills. Overall, our mission is student success! We aim to accomplish this mission through a commitment to teaching, learning, and community-building.
