2008 Richland College Graduation
Graduation ceremonies will be held the first week-end in May to honor the 2007-2008 Academic Year graduates: Fall 2007, Spring 2008 and potential Summer 2008 graduates. Please note that there will be no ceremony at the end of the Summer semesters, therefore students completing degrees or certificates in the Summer are eligible to attend the May ceremony.
This year’s Commencement Ceremony will be celebrated on two different days: Friday, May 2nd at 7:30pm OR Saturday, May 3rd at 7:30pm. The event will be held outdoors on the Richland College campus, but in the event of bad weather, the ceremony will be held in the Large Gymnasium in Guadalupe Hall.
The graduation office has assigned students to one of the dates. Letters regarding your assignments were mailed on Tuesday, 3/18/08. The students that received a letter were those students who have a "Degree Plan Request" form and a Richland College "Application for a Certificate or Diploma" on file with the Graduation Office. If you do not have these forms on file or if you have not received an assignment and would like to attend the ceremony, please contact the Graduation Office at rlcdegreeaudit@dcccd.edu . Please include your name, student ID number and a phone number where we can reach you during the day. If you do not have access to e-mail you may call 972/238-6004 or 972/238-6125.
Detailed information regarding the graduation ceremonies (including photographer arrangements) will be mailed the week of April 7th to those students attending the ceremony.
