Certification of a Distance Learning Course
Please follow these procedures when certifying a Distance Learning Course.
When to Certify:
A Distance Learning instructor has until 5:00 p.m. THE DAY AFTER CERTIFICATION DAY (CENTRAL TIME) to certify his/her courses.
Example: If certification day is September 11th ; the distance learning instructor would have until 5:00 p.m. September 12th to certify his/her course
How to Certify:
A student can be certified if he/she has contacted the instructor on or before certification date by the following means:
- A "hit" on any page of the eCampus course site as shown in course statistics/performance dashboard
- Email Communication
- Phone Communication
Go to eConnect to certify your Distance Learning course (s). You must certify all 8000 sections and if cross listed 9000 sections.
