Effective Immediately:

In order to streamline our processes and ensure compliance with the Department of Veteran Affairs. The RLC Financial Aid Office/VA has implemented a block on ALL students certified for VA benefits. If you are attempting to register, add or drop a course. Please contact the Financial Aid Office at 972-238-6188,972-238-3734, or 972-238- 6187 or email to rlcfava@dcccd.edu to request removal of the block for 24 hours. Complete your schedule changes and submit the Paid Registration Summary to the Financial Aid Office for certification by the VA Certifying Official.

Please Note: It is not necessary to see the VA rep for removal of the block.

GET READY FOR 2008-2009
Apply early for 2008-2009 FAFSA. The priority deadline is May 1st 2008.

FAFSA Help Sessions Every Tuesday (3:00 - 4:00 pm) and Friday (10:00-11:00 am) in T130 - APPOINTMENTS ARE NOW AVAILBLE
You will need yours and your spouse's (if married) or possibly your parents' (for dependents) 2007 tax return, W-2's and any other tax information or income * documents to complete the 2008-2009 FAFSA application.

Use online FAFSA4caster to begin exploring your financial aid options and get an early start on the financial aid process.

NEW ACG GRANT
The Federal Government also created a new student aid grant program called the Academic Competitiveness Grant (ACG). Go to http://studentaid.ed.gov for more information. Please bring in your high school transcripts to the Admissions Office.
