Special Scholarships Opportunities

Rising Star:
A Foundation Controlled scholarship available to graduates of any Dallas County public high school, or Dallas CAN! Academy. The scholarship pays for up to $4,000 in tuition and fees and books. To be eligible students must demonstrate a Financial Need (FAFSA application) and have graduated in the top 40% of their High School class. Academic Connections in Computer Science Scholarship ACCS:
A Department Controlled Scholarship currently available to Computer Science majors at RLC. To be eligible students must be US Citizens or legal residents, enroll in at least 12 hours, be Computer Science majors, have a high school grade point average of 87.5 or 2.7 in College, and demonstrate need as determined by the Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA). To apply students must complete the ACCS Scholarship Application.

Deadlines: Fall Priority Deadline is April 1st; Regular Fall deadline is July 15th. Spring Priority Deadline is November 8; Regular Spring deadline is Dec 15th.

Academic Connections in Engineering Scholarship (ACES):
A Department Controlled Scholarship currently available to Engineering majors at RLC. To be eligible students must be US Citizens or legal residents, enroll in at least 12 hours, needs to be an Engineering major, have a high school grade point average of 82/100 or 2.5/4 in College, and demonstrate need as determined by the Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA). To apply students must complete the ACES Scholarship Application Process and application.
