Richland College and The University of Texas at Dallas (UTD) have signed a transfer agreement for the acceptance of Associate's Degrees in Journalism, Broadcast Journalism and Advertising/Public Relations from Richland College into UTD's Bachelor of Arts Interdisciplinary Studies program with a concentration in Communications.

Under the agreement, which is effective immediately, UTD also agreed to teach at least one upper-level communications course at Richland each year.

Students now will be able to study mass communications at a prestigious public university without having to leave the Dallas area. For more information on the bachelor's degree options at UTD, visit UTD's School of General Studies.
