The study of Italian language and culture is of special importance in the fields of opera, music, the fine arts, literature, gastronomy, and many other areas of the humanities. In addition, the global economy has created a need for language speakers in a variety of fields.

Program

Ciao! Come to Richland to learn the language of amore.

We have interactive classes where you will learn to speak this beautiful language as well as how to write and read in Italian. In addition, the Italian culture will be infused in all lessons.

You can take Italian for credit toward a degree or for no credit as a Continuing Education student. Either way, you will enjoy lively class discussions and be challenged to learn the structure of the language. Classes may be offered during the day or in the evening.

Classes offered

Italian 1411 (4 class hours plus 1 lab hour each week)
Italian 1412 (4 class hours plus 1 lab hour each week)
Italian 2311 (3 class hours each week)
Italian 2312 (3 class hours each week)
