Video Collection Services
Finding and Requesting Recorded Materials
Richland Media Distribution provides faculty and staff access to the College Media Library. Media Distribution has a collection which contains both VHS and DVD format titles. Access to titles, authors, and subjects is available at the DCCCD Library On-Line Catalog.

When requesting a video we will need the following information:
- Your name
- Title of video and/or call number
- Room number for your class or event
- Date video is required
- Class start and end time
If you find a video title that is located on another DCCCD campus, we can request the video for you, but at least seven days of advanced notice is required for off-campus video request.
The video collection is located in Media Distribution (B220). Access to the collection is limited and any video request must be made twenty-four hours in advance. Generally, staff will deliver and pick up videos from the video lock boxes located in each classroom. Keys to the lock boxes are available at our office, B220. Adjunct faculty should obtain keys for these lock boxes through the ACCESS office (Adjunct Faculty College Center & Evening/Weekend Support Services) located in A110.

Reserves
Items from the Media Collection may also be placed on reserve for student viewing in the Media Center (B217, B218). Please speak with the Distribution office about using this service.
