Lab Services
- On-campus viewing of all media materials for a wide variety of courses, free of charge. Current enrollment is required.
- Drop-in computers for e-mail, internet access, and language software.
- Foreign language materials and computer programs are provided for student use during their required weekly lab time.
- Off-campus check-out of DVDs for some Distance Learning courses and rental of DVDs for Developmental Math classes, Algebra, Trigonometry are available. The Media Center has multiple copies of all videos. When all rental copies are out, in-house copies remain for viewing in the Lab. Students may rent 2 tapes for a period of 3 days. There is a charge of $1 per item and a late fee of $1 per day, per item. A drop-box is located outside B218. Current enrollment status is required for rental.
- Free loaner DVDs are available for students enrolled in some Govt. and Nutrition DL courses. Students will need to show a copy of a "paid" fee receipt and a picture ID to check out the items. Call the Media Center at 972-238-6094 to item availability. The materials are due 5 days after the course end date. Late fees are $1 per day per item.
Audio tape sets may be rented for some Language courses and purchased for others.
