Uses Adobe Photoshop to create and edit digital images for use in Multimedia web design and digital art.

Uses Adobe Dreamweaver and Adobe Fireworks to design creative web sites.
Suggested Prerequisite: IMED 1316.

Uses Adobe Illustrator to create vector graphics.

Emphasizes advanced imaging techniques for use in Multimedia, Video, Web and Print output. Adobe Photoshop is the primary tool used.

Focuses on animation and interface design using Adobe Flash.

Uses industry standard software to teach 3-D modeling and rendering techniques including lighting, staging, camera, and special effects.

Using Protools to digitize sound and create midi audio for multimedia, game and music projects.

Students develop skills in scripting, shooting, and editing videos. Sound production techniques are also covered. The software used is Premiere Pro and/or Final Cut Pro.

Basic introduction to web design using CSS, XHTML and Dreamweaver. Topics include: design, color scheme, lists, tables, forms and accessibility. (Online sections do not include Dreamweaver.)

Covers basic actionscript for Adobe Flash. Topics include using functions, variables, and arrays to create interactive web sites and multimedia DVD and CD-ROMs.

Is the capstone class for the Level II certificate and the Multimedia Web Design AAS degree. Important class for those about to graduate. Employers will be looking for a portfolio that demonstrates your abilities. Some universities can accept students to upper level classes based on a portfolio review.

Advanced Javascript coding.
Prerequisite: Intermediate web page generation skills or instructor approval.

Covers hand coding Javascript.
Prerequisite: IMED 2315 or IMED 2415.

Prerequisite: Basic web page generation skills or instructor approval.
