Muslim students at Richland College have enlisted the help of fellow students, faculty and staff as well as local businesses to raise money for the homeless by "going hungry" on Nov. 13.

THUNDERDUCKS BASEBALL TEAM REPEATS AS NATIONAL CHAMPSThe Richland College Thnderducks successfully defended their National Championship on Thursday afternoon by defeating Gloucester Co. College 7-0 in the finals of the NJCAA Div. III World Series. Demarcus Coats and Lance Harvell each hit a home run and Ryan Dreibelbis threw a complete game four-hitter in the win.
The T-Ducks won four straight games to claim their second title and have now won eight straight World Series games dating back to last season. For the second-straight season Richland knocked out Gloucester in the finals of the tournament.
Richland's offense was led by Coats who hit four home runs in the tournament. Dreibelbis led theT-Ducks pitching staff with a 2-0 record while giving up just one earned run. As a team the T-Ducks gave up just six runs in the tournament. Richland Chronicle
