Committee Sign-ups
Because our chapter is organized into a team system, we are asking that each member to find an opportunity to participate in our organization through one or several of our teams. We have four teams within our chapter, each outlined below. If you find one (or two, or three...) that interests you, contact advisors, Larry Polk.
Leadership Team: The Leadership Committee primarily plans, coordinates, organizes and determines the direction of the chapter. In addition, this team handles all fundraising and paperwork.
Scholarship Team: The Scholarship Team conducts activities designed to explore and enhance our understanding of the current year's Phi Theta Kappa Honor's Study Topic.
Fellowship Team: The Fellowship Team shares the responsibility of ensuring chapter unity through various fellowship activities. In addition, the fellowship team acts as the communication system for chapter correspondence and notification (i.e., e-mail, telephoning and newsletters).
Service Team: The Service Team plans and
conducts service-oriented projects which benefit both our college and communities
and which support Phi Theta Kappa's current International Service Project.
