TEMM Instructors Receive Meeting Professionals International – Dallas Fort Worth Chapter – Member Choice Awards
Marti Fox and James Monroe received Awards at the 2011 Meeting Professionals International Member Choice Awards on June 24, 2011. Both Fox and Monroe are adjunct faculty for the Travel, Exposition and Meeting Management program at Richland College.
Marti Fox, CMP, CMM, CTC, owner of Global Goals and Adjunct Instructor for the Travel, Exposition and Meeting Management Program at Richland College was awarded the Planner of the Year, the highest honor that can be awarded to a member of MPI.
The awarded is presented to a DFW planner member for outstanding contributions to the Chapter and meeting industry. The selection of the award is based on a history of accomplishments in the TEMM industry, service as a role model for other planners, demonstrated leadership in the industry and contributions to the MPI D/FW Chapter.
Marti Fox teaches International Meeting Management, Applied Industry Software and services on the TEMM Advisory Board.
In addition to Marti Fox, Jim Monroe, JC Monroe Designs and TEMM Adjunct Faculty was recognized at the MPI D/FW Chapter Member Choice Awards.
Jim Monroe, CMP, CSEP, owner of JC Monroe Design, and Adjunct Instructor of the Travel, Exposition and Meeting Management Program at Richland College was awarded Mentor of the Year by the Meeting Professional International D/FW Chapter. The Mentor of the Year Award is presented to a DFW Chapter member who displays the unique ability to lead, guide and teach others with enthusiasm and who has made a significant contribution in guiding a DFW chapter member(s) professionally.
Jim Monroe teaches the Special Event Design course and works with TEMM Travel Club @ RLC in providing the decorations for the annual TEMM Luncheon and Silent Auction.
TEMM Advisory Board Member receives The Presidents’ Choice Award - Meeting Professionals International – Dallas Fort Worth Chapter – Member Choice Awards
Steven Foster, CMP, CTA, Managing Partner at Foster+Fathom and Advisory Board Member of the Travel, Exposition and Meeting Management Program at Richland College was awarded The Chapter President Award by the Meeting Professional International D/FW Chapter during the Member Choice Awards Dinner on June 24, 2011.
The Chapter President Award is given by the outgoing Chapter President at the annual Awards Program and is presented to individuals or companies who have provided exceptional support to the President during his/her term. Foster was recognized for his leadership and support as the MPI D/FW Chapter made changes to improve finances during Jesh Batra, term of as President.
